China Medical University

China Medical University, founded in 1931, is a long-established medical university in Shenyang offering WHO-recognised English-taught MBBS programs. Its campus sits alongside affiliated teaching hospitals where international students undertake clinical rotations from the third year.

CMU is a strong value option for medical students: tuition runs USD 6,000 a year, Shenyang's cost of living is among China's lowest, and the program is listed in the WHO World Directory of Medical Schools. Applicants need a high-school science background and, for some countries, NEET or an equivalent qualifying exam.
